This rare historical collectible is a remarkable example of post-war East German civil service attire. Originally worn by a WWII German veteran, this DDR Federal Railroad Officer’s Conductor jacket represents the transition of decorated Wehrmacht personnel into the civil sectors of East Germany.

Crafted in dark blue wool, the jacket features gold-embroidered insignia on the collar and sleeves, along with brass buttons that denote the wearer’s rank and branch within the Federal Railroad service.
